THE. BEST. EVER…!

This weekend saw a three-day celebration of the 39th ASC Awards for Excellence in Cinematography.  I’m still not quite recovered from the festivities, but I can tell you that the organization – which always throws great parties – really surpassed itself this time around.  There wasn’t a single misstep throughout, and I defy any other group to match the effort.

Below is a list of honorees, nominees and winners (who are highlighted in black, with an asterisk).  I had the honor of presenting Associate Member Suzanne Lezotte with the Bud Stone Memorial Award, for outstanding service to the ASC.  It’s not shown here because the identity of that individual is kept under wraps each year until the moment of presentation on Sunday night.

We had over a thousand attendees at the Beverly Hilton – and every one of them enjoyed the time of their life!

Now, I’m going back to bed!
