Although not part of the ASC, Tom Priestley, brother of Jack, was a newsreel cameraman during WW II. You may have worked with the two of us in the 80’s, but the important thing is he documented the atrocities in Germany. Greg – I didn’t know Jack Priestly well, but I knew of him and spent a few days as an AC on a series he was shooting at one point. He was something of a NY legend back then…
