Anybody notice something odd, out-of-place…unusual about this ad?
Barry Ackroyd, BSC is a splendid cinematographer and I’m certain that he had no say in what appeared on the page. But someone (more likely, a number of someones) in the Kodak world did. And clearly, they all made a mistake!
I’m not going to give the error away, but it’s egregious considering the state of industry affairs at this moment. If you’re truly at a loss identifying it, start with that big thing on Barry’s shoulder…

Doesn’t look like any film camera I ever saw!
I wrote to them as soon as the ad came out and pointed it out. They apologized but also were a bit defensive though I can’t remember exactly how.
Greg – Because it’s NOT a film camera…it’s a digital camera!
