What was your equipment when you took that photo?

Except for Detroit scoring 6 runs at the top of the ninth, I hope
that you enjoyed your trip to Yankee Stadium.
I’m sure that I have a similar photo of Shea Stadium!
Gary – That was the last game played at the old Yankee stadium before they closed for the half-assed refurbishment. After the final out, the fans rushed the field and ripped the place to shreds…I was one of them. But to this day I think it’s a disgrace that that place was torn down! Shame on them…
Luigi – I used the family’s Kodak Instamatic. Square format, crappy drug store development and printing. I was a kid at the time, but it got the job done!
That’s right; The Yankees played their home games at Shea the next season.
