HAPPY 250th, AMERICA!

I remember the Bicentennial year of 1976 very clearly.

What a fantastic time to have experienced!

The present moment?  For reasons I won’t get into…let’s just say it’s not quite the same.

Nonetheless, the U.S. remains the greatest country the world will ever know.

And I am so thankful to have been born and raised here.

       HAPPY 4th OF JULY…TO EVERYONE!

  2. Thanks, Richard.
1976, I saw the tall ships on the Hudson
Then the next day left Canarsie in my Opel arriving in my new home town, Los Angeles.
Next month will be my 50th anniversary here
    Happy 250th All!

  3. Richard,
Happy 4th of July to you!
I remember the Bicentennial year of 1976 very well.
It’s the year I graduated from high school. Can’t comprehend it.

  4. Ken – I graduated high school the year before you. Between then and now – how fast the time has passed – makes no sense whatsoever. Nonetheless, that summer of 1976 was more fun and more memorable than any other I can recall! I don’t imagine the kids of today are enjoying quite the same experience. Happy 4th of July to you and yours!
